Practice Tuesday Dec 31st 8:00-10:00am Practice Thursday Jan 2nd 8:00-10:00am Practice Monday Jan 6th Noon-3:00pm (Meet in Gym A at Lamar ) Thursday January 2nd 10:00am-Finish: We will be setting up mats and tables at Lamar High School for our Annual tournament. Attendance is mandatory and counts as 30% of your six weeks grade. Friday January 3rd Arrive at 8:30 am to the Lamar Gym. If you are ineligible or not able to wrestle, be sure to show up to help run tables. Any wrestler eliminated from the tournament will need to help work the tournament. Attendance is mandatory and counts as 30% of your six weeks grade. Saturday January 4th arrive at 8:00am to the Lamar Gym. We will help run tables and will stay to tear all mats and tables down. Attendance is mandatory and counts as 30% of your six weeks grade. If you will be absent for any reason, you must get permission from Coach prior to the date of the tournament. No absences will be excused after the date and your grade will be docked. We are looking for as many people as possible to work our tournament. Please encourage your family and friends to help us work the tournament as this is our fundraiser for the year. Congratulations to Diana Diaz Lopez and Jose Olvera for placing 2nd at the Outback Invite this past Saturday in Weatherford. Also, Congratulations to Chelsea Calkins for her 11 second pin.

Lamar High School Wrestlers volunteered at Mission Arlington on Thanksgiving Eve. They served their community by handling 4000 turkeys donated for needy families. Job well done Vikes. Your willingness to give back makes a difference in many lives.
